According to the official website of Zoom, the leading video conferencing platform, in Q3 FY 2021, annual Zoom Meeting minutes have increased by 3300% in comparison to the Q3 of FY 2020. Isn’t it a huge percentage?

Pandemic has made many unrealistic things happen in real life. Have you ever thought, instead of getting dressed and sitting in the bus for school, children will have to sit at home and take notes through the computer window? Even a makeup workshop or baking class is going virtual today. And the list goes on. Now just imagine, if everything goes virtual permanently. The world would not be exactly the same as earlier, right?

What if people start marry virtually

Forget about those big fat weddings where hundreds of people attend and enjoy the delicious reception food. And now just make a scene before your eyes, the bride and groom are tying their knots on one computer window, the priest is chanting mantras from another window and all the friends and relatives are joining and giving their blessings from their respective screens.

In this situation now think about the invitation. Probably the host will invite the guests by sending the meeting joining link for Zoom or Google meet or any other platform. On the other hand, the virtual guests may send their gifts via courier or some online gift coupons.

No use of a marriage hall, catering, nothing at all.

Just imagine, schools are closed forever

If the authorities make the decision to permanently close schools, the lives of students as well as their parents will be totally changed. No school means study from home. Children and also their parents will now have to sit opening the video chat. No school buddies, no class bunk.

Nothing is impossible in this era. Yes. Restaurant owners will think of it not to shut down their business in any unexpected situations. On booking they will send links to join their virtual ambience created just like the typical restaurants. They may send ordered cuisine to customers' houses like zomato. People will enjoy the food in front of the computer screen joining the virtual restaurant setup.

Just like restaurants, tourist spots will also conduct online visits. They will show a specific spot or wild lives, etc. in real time through video conferencing.

How our lives will change

Actually even now, our lives are not exactly the same as before the pandemic. COVID 19 has changed the World in many dimensions. So, if everything in the World shifts to virtual, the bond we share among each other will be weakened. No physical get together, no party, no celebration will make our lives less exciting and boring.
